Long hikes in nature, find a babbling brook, river, lake, a silent meadow far away from all the noise and confusion, and enjoy the solitude alone or share it with someone special. I also like getting away to a new city, a special place on the beach, anywhere new that has culture, style, something with character.

Humor, strength, wit, intelligence, someone who has fought fire-breathing dragons and came back to tell the story of victory, joy, and gratefulness for having experienced it... the compassion, insight, and empathy they have gained from it all. I love people who can laugh authentically at their past self, and know that nothing is permanent, and therefore not worth sweating over... someone who sees humor in virtually everything, including their own serious bullshit.
