Estate sales, garage sailing, thrift stores – it’s all about the hunt! DIY.
I’m a total rockhound on the shores of Lake Michigan and when I can get there - Lake Superior.
All things nature, except scary bugs. I have a bazillion pictures of birds, flowers, clouds, sunsets, moons, pets…etc.
Cloud gazer, weather radar watcher – a bit of a weather geek.
Music lover of all genres except most rap and super twangy country. Some favorites – David Bowie, Yes, Pink Floyd, David Gilmour (after PF), Genesis, Talking Heads, Arcade Fire, Aerosmith, Rush, Maria Callas. Well obviously, this is just too difficult to narrow down. Concerts – so many ticket stubs in the memorabilia box.
Upscale bars – dive bars. Foodie food - everyday food.
Pretty dry sense of humor with a sprinkle of sarcasm – or maybe they are actually one in the same? It’s a fine line. Banter in this regard is always appreciated and enjoyed because it ends with laughter. Can be a complete dork too.
You must love cats. My latest rescue (I only have one) is my roommate and she has to listen to me talk about the day and she squeaks back. I’ve always had a cat or two in my world and many a dog too. Love dogs, but sometimes life circumstances don’t allow for having them and giving them their best life.
Relocated back to Grand Rapids over a year ago after being in Florida for 12 years.
