Informal, laid back. Living in a village outside Exeter with my dog Lola. Am mostly retired, but also work shifts as a relief porter at a large hospital. Keeps me fit as we sometimes walk 15 miles during a shift. Love music, esp Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Neil Young etc.
Love to be outdoors esp woods and seashore. Play guitar, but no maestro. Have worked in care most of my life, children's homes, child disability team and, for the last 10 years of my working life, with profoundly deaf adults with additional difficulties, mostly autism.
Left wing persuasion, have been marching with Extinction Rebellion.
Like to think I am considerate, kind and supportive. Have travelled on several continents, but now, of course, acutely aware of environmental costs of air travel. Used to love sailing and would like to get back to it. Have an allotment.
