Well, it has been a few months now since I moved back to Michigan after living in the south for 6 years. My family is everything to me. Hence the move back home. I also became a grandmother for the first time. It is such an amazing blessing. The love just fills my heart. I have come to the conclusion that starting as friends first is the best approach to the online dating adventure. Let's see where it takes us. Hopefully to something wonderfully beautiful. Friendship and mutual respect have to last a lifetime and love is built on these. So that being said, I am looking for a lovely man that is honest, sincere, genuine and kind. These are qualities that speak volumes about the kind of person you are. I am a very thoughtful person and take others feelings into consideration always. I have been told I am too nice...I didn't know that was a bad thing. Lol . I appreciate thoughtfulness in the people I choose to be with as well. I think being a gentleman is very sexy. I am a very touchy person and need someone comfortable with that. Holding hands, kissing... I enjoy witty banter and a good conversation. What about sitting by a bonfire while star gazing and getting to know one another? The simple things... that's what matters. I am looking for someone to do things with and who is open to stepping outside their comfort zone to have a bit of fun..I like sports(hockey and football mainly), food(local sustainable, vegetarian), travel, anything outdoors(except hunting, I am an animal lover and vegetarian so no hunters please), hanging out with friends, exploring new areas, festivals, shopping(of course),volunteering, museums. I love the beach or lake, the sound of the waves, the sand on your feet, the sun on your face... There is nothing better. Music is another love, especially under the stars or in a small venue.
