I love to make things. Recently my creativity has been channeled into learning to make decent use of a wood lathe but I love to create in stained glass, metal, and wood. Being a tech nerd I also dabble with adding electronic components to my creations.

In the last few years, I have been consuming books on tape like crazy. I've learned I can listen to books that I could never get through reading (there's a story behind that, you can ask me). I alternate between 'classics', I recently finished Moby Dick, 100 years of solitude and, House of Spirits... Off the NYT bestseller list I 'read' The Four Winds, Where the Crawdads Sing and A Gentleman in Moscow... you know any of them?

I would love to have someone to talk to about these books while on long walks in nature or while discovering some new corner of town or while waiting in the airport for the next connection to get to the island where the water is so clear you can see the fish without having to dive.
