Just how did I get here and where is the beautiful woman who was with me? I am fortunate enough to been a part of an intellectual, witty, entertaining group who have enjoyed all sorts of activities. I recently moved to Lake City after having lived most of my adult life in the Tampa Bay area. I came here to start again after a 21 year marriage with no baggage or negative feelings and to be closer my daughter, her husband and my three beautiful grandchildren. I am a long time Mensa member who loves to be with stimulating people who are not afraid of lively, open discussion and new experiences. Some ten years post divorce I am beginning to see a somewhat disturbing pattern that needs some examination. I have never been attracted to women younger than myself but, as I don't have a firm grip on my own self imposed age restrictions, most of the women who I would imagine dating are 10-15 years younger than I. I don't think that I have any delusions about who I am but I would much prefer someone nearer my own age and experience. I am a child of an age that experienced changes that profoundly affected my personality and I hold those values dear. I am certain that there are many women who feel the same frustrations. If "Hey, 19" means anything at all to you we have the basis of a valuable relationship. Let's just have a few drinks and relax! As an aside, for any sapiophile friendly ladies out there, I enjoy few things more than lively conversation.
