I am a widower, my wife and I were married for 40 years, I'm a one woman man. I am a retired Police Detective which gives me a very unique outlook on life in general. I am a conservative Christian and a "type A' personality. I'm serious buy not stuffy and I do enjoy a good joke. I am completely honest and very loyal, I say what I feel althought I never delibertly try to hurt or insult anyone. I dislike liers and cheaters, life is too short to play games with people's lives. My children are all grown and married and at this time they all live out of state, My goal here is to find a woman that I'm compatable with in hopes of building a relationship.
I'm the president of my neighborhood association and enjoy helping people. I love animals and have 2 small dogs and a cat. I enjoy almost all kinds of music from opera to country. I enjoy staying at home and cooking, however I enjoy going to a nice restuarant for a good meal. I like to go to the cinima and love going to the beach. I also enjoy just getting in my truck and going for a drive. A visit to Key West is always an option for an extended weekend.
