You could best describe me as engaging, humorous, intelligent, active, compassionate, entrepreneurial and environmentally conscious.
I am pursuing a more sustainable living situation using with solar power. I am currently residing in an octagon on 13 lovely acres in southern Oregon(Gold Hill) living closer to and being more in harmony with the earth. I can walk to the Rogue River from my place. I also grow legal Cannabis including the non psycho active, therapeutic CBD industrial hemp in a large greenhouse. I'm looking at doing that for one more year, then anything is possible.
I am more spiritual than religious, eastern over western philosophy. I admire writers and great thinkers I respect are Carlos Castanada, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Tom Wolfe, Ken Kessey, Tom Robbins & Jeremy Rifkin. Poets include Rumi & Ferlinghetti. Politcally, I like Elizabeth Warren, Comic favorites are Jon Stewart, Samantha Bee, Stephen Colbert & Bill Maher.
I enjoy outdoor activities from hiking to biking to camping and water adventures. Living near the Cascade mountains and exploring Oregon's many great rivers and lakes is a paradise found.
Indoor activities including snuggling, stimulating conversation, entertaining friends, creating and sharing recipes in the kitchen. I am creative in the culinary arts, centering on organic dishes which are primarily vegetarian but I do eat fish on occasion.
I enjoy independent film, especially documentaries, public TV or shows that inform and educate as well as entertain, a wide range of music (rock/pop, jazz, r&b, cutting edge and world beat), comedy and astrology. I enjoy good theater as well.
I love to travel to exotic locales in the south Pacific including Thailand, India and Sri Lanka. Also enjoy Europe, especially Amsterdam and the "coffee houses". Would love a great travel companion to explore and expand our worlds.
I have a radio show out of Ashland, OR that airs every Monday from 4-6 pm(PT) and streams live at *******KSKQ.org. It's called DJ Organic's Old Skool rules.
