What I am looking for? ...Well .....First and foremost we must be each others best friend, an absolute true friend! The one person that any subject, concept or concern can be discussed without the judgmentalisms that can leave one indifferent to the openness of free flowing thought. Second we have to be honest, honest to a fault yet tempered in such a manner as to not outright mean. Lastly there needs to be a loyalty for and total trust in one and other. Trust in having the knowledge that for the most part that no matter what we would be there for each other, a shoulder to lean and cry on. Assured with the confidence of knowing that no matter how hard ones day was there would be awaiting arms for that much needed hug just by the asking..eventually just by the look on your face or in the sound of your voice.
I am very aware of the fact that these concepts can not be achieved to any real degree over night they can only be grown over time. They tend to hold within themselves the requirement of constant conscientious nurturing along with continual maintenance to securely solidify the galvanization of the very values they represent.....still I sure would love to run into that one special someone who unknowingly yet consistently left me with the feeling of hope "for the rest of our life concept".but..these days I feel that most everyone.. someways myself included understandably seem to be caught up in their own world.
The part where what is in our heart, mind and soul seems to fall a distant second to the what you own or how much do you make and ever so popular the whats in it for me. Far to many are completely absorbed in their electronic leashed -app based-face book-twitter-texting mind ****ing game playing mania that has swept modern times. Way to hypercritical to ever invest the time to reach any depth, to truly make the effort required to explore the other person to a level of understanding of the unique balances of complexities that makes one out to be so very special and somewhere along the way falls short of experiencing the magical warmth of the journey that moves two people from just acquaintances into a loving couple eventually achieving soul mate nirvana..You would need to possess that special spark that seems to go hand and hand with being an optimist, It would be nice if you were the type to wake up each day with a positive outlook on life and always if possible make the most out of what ever the situation presented. In these current times of Covid
Thats a true challenge in itself.
It is a must to possess and utilize solid communication skills, including conflict resolution skills. I need to know that you have the moxie to go toe to toe with me in a debate and if you feel your right pull out the points and show me why..I enjoy the outdoors just as much as anyone, love kayaking, hiking, even dogsleded yet these are so inconsequential, as to having that someone who can carry on a conversation while we are on an easy going road trip, I miss having the bbq's and dinners come right down to it I do like to cook, just not so much only for myself. Would like to have someone to join in and share with on outings as The B Street theater, maybe the occasional brunch down at Bodega Bay, or at Tahoe. Keep in mind that I would be counting on you to add to our adventures with a few of your own..
I think of myself as a laid back very independent multifaceted individual, an enigma of sorts with an old soul, currently a little lost, just looking for that one special someone to connect with, to constantly stay connected with on all levels if that is possible.. to care for.. to blend with like a fine Shiraz ...to grow old with and one can only pray for to never to grow old of..
Maybe I am a dreamer, truly a wishful thinker!. Am I asking for more that one should ever expect?... I hope not.. I have to go with the belief that with the right person this all falls right in place with so little effort
